Been updating this chart a lot more frequently recently and I think it reflects the music I like and listen to better than ever. My hope is that everyone who finds this chart will come away with at least one new album to enjoy.
I'm still in the process of adding notes to my picks, so bear with me!

It took me a long time to get into this album. I fell in love with "Jesus Etc." instantly, but otherwise I couldn't figure out the hype. Over time as I kept revisiting the album I figured out bits and pieces, finding something new to enjoy every time. That, to me, is the joy of discovering and listening to music, something that I never engaged in quite so actively before this album. No other album have I personally found as musically and emotionally rewarding upon listen after listen. I recognize that this probably isn't the album to do that for you, but I wanted to share that philosophy since I think and hope everyone can find an album to feel so strongly about.
Best moment: At the end of "War on War" where the cacophony dissipates into feedback and immediately transitions into the gentle strings of "Jesus Etc." [First added to this chart: 04/12/2016]
Kid A was one of the first albums I listened to where I really felt like I didn't understand what artists were doing since I had never heard anything like it before. For a long time I preferred OKC, IR, and even A Moon Shaped Pool. What makes it so incredible to me, though, is that after studying and finding love for its influences like Aphex Twin and Talking Heads I found it more enjoyable and even more creative than I did on first listen. The fact that Radiohead made such niche genres in the scheme of pop music like post-punk and IDM into an album that topped the charts is incomprehensible to me. Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 1% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 91.6/100, a mean average of 93.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 93.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 6.7.

Just a shame that give up writing descriptions after the fifth one, great chart!
Awesome chart, we have lots in common!
Really great mix of genres and time periods, plus I love the notes you've written so far. That Russian album is the only one not on my radar, will have to give it a listen!
Great chart, but it's weird that this, with similars, misses Eminem
Decided not to give a rating because you've said it's not finished, will check back in future!!
Love it!
Truly Excellent chart! Zoso is my number 2 too!
