Definitive album and creative peak from the most prolific band ever. An album so unique it created an entirely unique sound that both changed music and culture on it's own. Showed what pop and rock could be when engineered to perfection. It was McCartney at his creative peak and Lennon at his most reserved, yet spaced out. "A Day In The Life" is their magnum opus and creates another universe like feel, although based firmly in every day life. Could have been even greater if Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever were included as planned.

The turning point in the band's creativity. Changed the path of everything else that was to be expected from popular music and remains the best display of the band's wide variety of abilities despite being their hardest rock album. From straight rockers like "Taxman" and "And Your Bird Can Sing", to ballads like "Here, There and Everywhere" and "For No One", to pure experiences like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Tomorrow Never Knows". No album offers more at a higher level.

The first big creative step forward for the band. Showed more depth in writing and featured the best overall vocal effort they ever recorded. This the album where they "grew up" and the music shows it. It's their lightest album, but has some of their deepest lyrics and was John Lennon at his best. "In My Life" and "Norwegian Wood" showcase this.

Exquisitely produced album. Diversity is everywhere still, as the Paul McCartney-led suite of songs on the second half proves. The band was by now a complete four-piece effort in contributing to content. George Harrison arguably was the strongest in the band song wise ("Something", "Here Comes The Sun", and while John Lennon's contributions were few, they were hardcore and to the point ("Come Together", "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". Ringo did some amazing drumming throughout this album as well, his best effort on any Beatle offering.
