Top 56 Music Albums of the 2000s by manurock 
So, as I said on my overall, I started listening to music at the 2000's so there were too many 2000's albums. Some have been deleted and they now find their place here, as well as other albums which didn't make it at the first place but I still like.
I find the 2000's a good decade to music as many british bands took the early Radiohead torch, both on the post-britpop side (i.e Coldplay) and on the alternative rock side (i.e Muse). Also, we have a prog rock revival plus prog metal maturing (i.e Steven Wilson and his acts), indie rock reaching the mainstream, and many etc's.
Comments from my top 100 are copy-pasted into here. I will try to comment the rest two, albeit briefly.
When you get to a decade chart I guess it's harder to reach to everyone, plus there are so many albums I have yet to listen that I am sure this isn't the best decade chart, but as I said it helps me save this albums and also understand this decade better so here they are. Enjoy! Any feedback is welcome.

Yeahhh maybe I have made this chart just to see this album #1. On my overall it is #2 behind Pink Floyd's DSOM and as much as I respect that band I sometimes think this should be my #1 overall too... anyway, back to my top 100 comment:
PLEASE listen to this album. You can see some Camel, Mike Oldfield and classical music influences but still this concept album is unique. Great vocals and instrumentation; piano, mellotron, violin and flute are more prominent than guitars. The first song is a long track which introduces you to the rest of the album and shows how well the different instruments get on together.
I remember when I watched them at Summer's End Festival in the UK. They were very nervous, still it was beautiful to hear these 10 people play their best songs, including nearly all of this album. After the show, I was able to talk with Phideaux Xavier and he was really nice with me. They weren't gonna make any profit from this concert, but they found the experience of playing in Europe fascinating. Nearly as fascinating as this concept album, which I agree with him, is his masterpiece. [First added to this chart: 08/09/2018]

Louris' compositions, aided by Perlman and O'Reagan, show a more positive Jayhawks, which return to their country rock. Some of its highlights, are Angelyne, the single Save it for a Rainy Day, Don't let the world get in your way or Tim O'Reagan's Tailspin.

Yeah, this is a compilation album. The thing is I grew up with this album, and it contains most of the best tracks by REM like Everybody Hurts, Imitation of Life or Man on the Moon. Maybe when I dig on their discography I will change it but so far I want REM to be on this chart and here it is.

Second to best album by phideaux in which the two tracks outlined below are two of the best in the whole Phideaux discography. The first one is "Titan", an impressive and unique psychedelic rock/trip hop song, whereas the second one is the 20min title track which is a precedent to their magnificent "Doomsday Afternoon".

Shortly after 11-S, Sprinsteen made this concept album in order to make americans "Rise up" after such terror. Although a bit too long, the instrumetation is rich and Springsteen is full of feeling; this makes the album one of the must-listens from this artist. Apart from it's title track, I reccommend the first and the last track.

My third favourite album from Phideaux, this time showing their origins; a more soft rock/pop-rock orientation in which the calmed song "Headstones" stands out.

This album should have sold more. Such beautiful melodies with flutes, violins and piano all over the place. If you like Fleet Foxes, you can't wait to listen to this album.
