"One of the things that makes this Swedish Americana album such a special project is the honesty that sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg bring to their status as musical and geographical outsiders. "Emmylou," while a tribute to the musical love affair between Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, also..."  [+]  Reply

"Real Estate are the quintessential heartland rock band for the twentieth century, and I mean that mostly as praise. They play meticulously crafted, reverb-heavy jangle pop that makes for an ideal backdrop to a long drive across the plains, or a lazy Sunday lawnchair afternoon before a football ga..."  [+]  Reply

"What a really cool change of pace for these guys. Yeah, its genre tags are "thrash metal" and "stoner metal," but I would say the intensity of it matches the more chaotic moments from Nonagon of Infinity with some aggressive vocals and crazy good guitar work. It's a very fun listen."  Reply

"Went to see her live, touring for this album. It was one of the worst live shows I've ever attended. Nearly everyone there left at around the halfway point. Turned me way the fuck off her music, which I'd been undecided about up till that point. But yeah, no."  Reply

"Death Grips are one of the best new groups, that have risen up this decade and really stood up from the crowd. They got this abrasive, hard sound, in combination with somewhat dirty lyrics, which really make me excited for the future. I hope that a whole movement will erect from their ideas and w..."  [+]  Reply

"Oh, this is a great album! Don't let Pitchfork fool you, this album may not be as technically accomplished as his first two but it is brimming with all this emotion, its so beautiful. All of his previous album covers have his face obscured or distorted, and for Assume Form its the exact opposite ..."  [+]  Reply

"I wasn't totally sold on R Plus Seven, but this one is like a combination of all my favourite aspects of his previous work. Loving the weird vocal manipulation. So alien. Every now and then it slithers up to the TV screen to watch some impossibly happy pop diva dancing to a catchy tune, and the c..."  [+]  Reply

"Total, complete, engulfing immersion. Night time in a big city will never look the same once you play this; the sounds of the lights, the skyscrapers, the metro, the taxis, the people, all is delicately and potently captured. A haven for nocturne daydreams."  Reply

"Takes every one of the trashiest trends of the past decade of pop music, piles them on top of each other, turns them up to 11, douses them in an excessive dose of irony, post-irony, post-post-irony, and etc., and single-handedly absolves the sins of every one of them."  Reply
