"I wasn’t sure how the Red Hot Chili Peppers would sound without John Frusciante. I was sad that he left because he’s a great guitarist and I think he brought something very special to the band. When I heard he left I was disappointed and skeptical of their new album. However thankfully, they prov..."  [+]  Reply

"I find it difficult to make an objective judgement on this album as Dear Science is one of my favourite albums and this album suffers in comparison as it is very similar. The songs are still very good but it feels like shaking hands with Bobby Kennedy whilst secrertly wishing it was JFK. There is..."  [+]  Reply

"Oooh... I like it. Feist isn't happy. She's developed an edge. This album is reflective and retrospective. She's looking back on failure and conflict. It gives her music a darker edge, and the sounds have become more layered, more complex, more risky. Well done Feist. This may be your masterpiece."  [+]  Reply

"All songs are a real sound experience. My favorites are: State of the Art andSomebody that I Used To Know. In your light and I feel better are the weakest songs on the album, but they are fine too."  Reply

"This is not a lyrical, deep, socially conscious, especially meaningful album but it isn't trying to be. It is just really well made with some amazing detailed production and just sounds really fucking good."  Reply

"Evoking dream-pop atmospherics and an undercurrent of psychedelia, Holter expands upon the aesthetics of Julianna Barwick's 'The Magic Place', to create an album that in many ways is not unlike a postmodern amalgam of 'Desertshore', 'Lorca' and 'Rock Bottom'. "The first half of the album feels so perfect that as some people would say "it insists upon itself". However, from track six the vibe of the album is a bit deeper and you can sense a sort of soul out there that make it, all in all, a fair album. Invisible is a standout here..."  Reply
