Top 50 Greatest Music Albums by FHCA72

My Top-10 and more 40 albums, in order of release. Collections listed last. A different and, perhaps, a surprising list. Some albuns here maybe are controversial, often hated by some traditional fans of the artist, however, are typically more worked albums that the most famous albuns of these artists.
A list without prejudice and chosen with care. Sure very different to many music critics opinions... but, let´s admit it, if musical critics understand music, they would be famous musicians.... hehe....

In 1978 the Queen band came up with an more relaxed and unpretentious album. Although without the complexity of previous albums, JAZZ are one of the most enjoyable albuns of the band. "Don´t Stop Me Now", "Leaving Home Ain't Easy" and my favorite "In Only Seven Days", with sweet and beautiful melody, already worth the album. But there's more... Excellent from beginning to end, BURN brought a new life to Deep Purple, after entry of the new members David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes. Coverdale owns one of the most exciting voices of all time, and their participation is crucial in this album. Ritchie Blackmore is also quite inspired and the bass-drums never sounded so energetic.
For me, this is the more purple sound from Deep Purple and the MkIII is the best line up (I really like Gillan but, sorry, the work of Coverdale here is impeccable and incomparable).
Best songs: "Burn," "Might Just Take Your Life" and "Sail Away". The cover is also noteworthy, very cool.

A lot of Blues tunes, but nothing here sounds boring or monotonous.
The previous album (A SENSE OF PLACE, from 1990) and the later (SPINNING COIN, from 1995) are also great, but this one is almost perfect.
Coco Montoya's guitar makes all the difference, and John Mayall is in great shape, both on vocals and his smart harmonica.
A great and varied Blues album.
The opening track, "Mail Order Mystics" is one of my all time favorite songs!

Some interesting choices. If you like the Warren Haynes era LS, check out a band called Govt. Mule.
