Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I've got to agree with the other comments here. Love the amount of hidden gems, and like the charts of any great music connoisseur the picks I do recognise are brilliant. Would love to hear your written opinions on these records, especially the lesser-known picks so I could know what I was getting myself into.

Great choices. Really like that you didn’t go with the popular choices here. Grabbed a random album to listen to. Ended up with U.S. Girls - Half Free. Never heard them before. Interesting stuff. Thanks for the suggestion

@lisalisa, wow I'd consider Torres a much sadder album than LSS. Waterfall, that last track, is so brutal. But yeah I do have a bit of a melancholy bias.
