If an album is already in my best music albums of all time chart, it will no re-appear in this one. This is a strange decade for me. What with settling down to married life, moving away from Scotland, having a child, starting a new career as a teacher and being very skint I lost track of what was happening in music during this decade. I bought a lot less records and music magazines. I listened to Peel less often and went to fewer concerts. I always feel as if I am trying to catch up on this decade. If you think I have missed anything out let me know. I am always looking for new music.

I don't think I've seen a decade chart before that excludes albums that already appear in the overall chart. While it has the advantage of enabling you to include more albums, it probably fouls up some of the ranking points. Aside from that relatively minor issue, this is an interesting chart. I love OK Computer (doesn't everyone?), The La's, Green Mind, and Mermaid Avenue, among many of your other selections. Good work!
