I have gotten in many arguments over this choice, but I wholeheartedly believe In Utero is superior to Nevermind. Extremely raw and powerful and unrelenting with lack of a glossy production to hide behind Nirvana finds itself at its best.

Progressive-dream-rock-pop or whatever you want to call it (alluring would be a good word). Extremely intoxicating and sincere. The concert was intended as a farewell since the bassist was leaving, unbeknownst to everyone however, Shinji Sato, the lead vocalist, would die suddenly a few months after the concert.
