I am never satisfied with this list and I have to leave many albums that I love and that stinks, so this Chart is always in constant change.

Nunca imaginé que un álbum doble me gustara tanto…

Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, es un álbum tan aclamado que aparecía en todas las listas y rankings de mejores álbumes de 2022. Pero a pesar de todas las buenas críticas, y que los géneros relacionados a este álbum como el Indie-Rock / Indie Folk están entre mis favoritos, el hecho de que fuera un álbum doble, me hacía evitar escucharlo.

Y es que, generalmente este tipo de álbumes son largos y suelen tener canciones de relleno, por lo que me cuesta mucho trabajo mantener mi atención durante todo el álbum. Pero en el caso de Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, está tan bien cuidado y es tan cohesivo, que escucharlo fue como si; el reloj se hubiera detenido, sin darme cuenta que el tiempo seguía pasando…

No recuerdo ninguna canción mala o que estuviera fuera de lugar, sino todo lo contrario, cada una de las canciones merece su lugar, especialmente; Time Escaping, Certainty, Little Things, No reason, The Only Place, solo por mencionar algunas, interpretadas por la íntima y delicada voz de Adrianne Lenker. Pero sin duda, el punto más alto del álbum se encuentra en Simulation Swarm. Cuando se reprodujo esa canción, me quedé congelado sin saber por qué, de repente sentimientos de nostalgia, introspección y melancolía se apoderaban totalmente de mí… Simplemente una de las mejores canciones que he escuchado en años!!!

Creo que, a partir de ahora, tendré que estar más abierto a escuchar discos de larga duración porque pueda que me encuentre maravillas como ésta. [First added to this chart: 12/10/2024]

Tienes que prestar mucha atención a cada detalle, cada nota, cada arreglo instrumental... La ejecución es de otro nivel, la producción es sublime, un álbum casi perfecto. Cada una de las canciones son tan geniales que es imposible destacar solo algunas.

"Motomami" llega con canciones vanguardistas, sonidos abstractos y asilados, en una mezcla de Reguetón alternativo, pop experimental y con influencias electropop.
Cada nota envuelve al oyente en un aura de misticismo e introspección, rematando con la sublime interpretación y voz de Rosalía.
Creo que esté álbum es la guía para que los artistas del género urbano, en habla hispana, comiencen a evolucionar y tomar más riesgos.

Hola, te escribo como respuesta al comentario reciente que pusiste en mi perfil en mi lista de albumes. Muchas gracias por el comentario. Además, consideraré comentar cada uno de los albumes como me recomiendas.
En cuanto a tu lista, también me ha gustado, veo que es muy variada y que te gustan los álbumes clásicos de bandas.
En relación a Keane, ese disco me marcó bastante en su momento, y todavía lo disfruto cuando lo escucho. Además veía necesario meter discos españoles ya que también han tenido gran peso en mi vida. De ninguna manera voy a dejarlos fuera por ser españoles, para mi siguen siendo de gran calidad. Como ves, yo no valoro la calidad general de un disco, sino lo que me ha hecho sentir ese disco, que es lo que realmente veo importante.

This is a good 50 - I know and love almost everything here. Special shout out to Keane at number 1 and also Travis.
Let me recommend 2 albums based on what you have and your comments - Neutral Milk Hotel In An Aeroplane Over The Sea - sometimes takes folk a while to really enjoy as it is kinda tortured folk; and Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago, lo-fi folk.
