"I do like me some Alt-Country, but not the soppy heartbroken cowboy Alt-Country style ( Ryan Adams ‘Heartbreaker’ excepted, Lyle Lovett, Gillian Welch etc) but rather the hard drinking, bar fighting bad boys Alt-Country style and that is why I love Uncle Tupelo and this album in particular This i..."  [+]  Reply

"Very nice compilation with 2 new great tracks - superhit 'Justify My Love' and unfortunately, so criminally underrated 'Rescue Me'. Also, I love new version of 'Like A Prayer'"  Reply

"Excellent album by Jellyfish, grew immensely on me just like Spilt Milk did, though obviously not quite as much. The slick production was definitely a put-off at first, but after loving Spilt Milk I started to realize how good the tunes on Bellybutton were underneath. It's weird how much of this ..."  [+]  Reply

"The Comfort Of Madness is THE definitive essential Pale Saints album , the band only released 3 albums and this one is the pick of them easily . On BEA "In Ribbons" is ranked the no 1 PS album and this is down right incorrect , this album is clearly their best Opening 'Way the World Is' kicks thi..."  [+]  Reply

"Another good INXS album, but then they all were from Shabooh Shoobah until Full Moon, Dirty Hearts. Not up to the standard of LLT, SS, The Swing, Kick or WTWYA, but not too far behind. INXS classics in the first three tracks and Bitter Tears, all up there with their best tracks but there are just..."  [+]  Reply

"Outstanding dark, gothic album with great riffs and wicked lyrics. I wouldn't have though Jim Steinman and Sisters of Mercy made for a good marriage, but the two Steinman-penned songs, More and When You Don't See Me, come across perfectly. The rest is also excellent, especially the title cut and ..."  [+]  Reply

"Honestly, I really think this album surpasses Danzig in every way. It is so undeniably good. Danzig has a lot of tracks that can get old at times, but I could listen to this over and over. Highlights include 777, Her Black Wings, and Tired of Being alive for me. Worth a listen, maybe 9."  Reply
