"I dismissed Elvis Costello as a wuss that bohemian girls liked, but nobody else would, until I dated a super-hot bohemian girl who insisted I give him a fair try. Was it my hormones or my brain that convinced me I was wrong? I'd say it was somewhere in my gut. This album should win anyone over."  Reply

"The subject matter throughout this album is extremely edgy and filled with teenage girl angst. I don't think I have ever heard another example of a 90s album with the combination of such raw female vocals, in your face lyrics, and at the same time bubblegum production quality like this album has...."  [+]  Reply

"My first Bjork experience, I've played this maybe 4-5 times over the past year. Was not a big fan of the vocals initially, but her delivery and tone have really grown on me with repeated listens. Biggest problem I still have with this one are the several tracks with heavy dance/house beats. Feels..."  [+]  Reply

"Ground breaking, time defining music. Not only did it help launch the "Bristol scene" (Portishead, Tricky, etc) but it actually shaped it. If you are interested in the history of music, you should definitely own a copy of this album."  Reply

"Crosby, Stills & Nash released their first album very succesful in 1969, and in 1970 with the addition of Neil Young they were ready to release a second album, "Deja Vu". The three original members were all experienced songwriters and great singers, and with Neil Young on top of the hat, it could..."  [+]  Reply

"In my book, one of the most underappreciated albums ever recorded. The minimalist, chromatic piano arrangements are a perfect match Apple's ferocious vocals. Lyrically, very personal and vivid. Songs like "Werewolf" and "Valentine" are subtle melodies with lyrics that gets under your skin, while ..."  [+]  Reply

"This is slightly different to their debut but there is still loads to love on this record and it is an under rated follow up. It is very tough to follow an album as good as Ten is and you can see they struggled a little to figure out which way they wanted to take the music. Once the record gets s..."  [+]  Reply

"For a short flash in time back in 1985 this was the biggest album on the planet topping the charts in more country's than it wasn't and T.F.F's were close to the biggest band.
