"This along with Albert Hammond Jr.'s albums gives me hope that even if the Strokes eventually splinter apart there will still be good music to be had from them. This is a very good album that is up there in quality with the strokes' work."  Reply

"This is a really excellent album from the very accomplished American metal shredder. Back in its heyday it was classed as metal, in this day and age probably hard rock. I thought Cat Scratch fever was the best album until I picked up a mint vinyl copy of this in a local second hand joint a few ho..."  [+]  Reply

"This is an angry monster of politics, disease and oppression...Lydon has the best musicians and a great set of songs for this collection...I think "Home" is a battle cry and possibly the best song of the decade...a great statement!"  Reply

"Solid metal. But, The mixing of this album sounds archaic, thus giving a slightly messy result, plus the guitars are put to the background, they do not really rule. Guitar solos do not convince me."  Reply

"I’m a big fan of when artists decide to go into a different direction with their music. I hate it when a band or a musician just stagnates and makes the same album over and over again. Well, I shouldn’t say I hate it, because I’m a big fan of some bands that do exactly that, but it’s really nice ..."  [+]  Reply

"Don't not be swayed by all of the negative and ambivalent ratings this deserves a much higher spot in these charts. Talented vocals, multifaceted dimensions, able to master the test of high volume levels. Absolutely bloody brilliant!"  Reply

"The previous album was so frustrating, mainly in that it certainly felt quite personal but so musically trite and thin that it couldn't really support the emotional weight of the lyrics. This in turn feels like a much fuller and lush fleshing-out of the previous album's sound, adding in some more..."  [+]  Reply
