Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.4/100, a mean average of 79.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.1.

I only got round to actually listening to this album (2020) - having known many of the tracks and loved them for years. The rest of the album did not disappoint with Two Of Us; I Me Mine and I've Got Feeling new listens and superb. I even like Maggie Mae for it's full 41 seconds. The album has moments of sounding a bit like a jam with the off mic discussion and inclusion of Maggie Mae. It is now my favourite Beatles album

This album's production is the epitome of "If we play loud people might think we're good."

A much looser sounding Beatles album, more than anything else they recorded this sounds like 3 distinct songwriters writing & performing their own songs and then releasing the finished product as a Beatles album ...... but it works the results are some of their best work Let It Be, Across The Universe, I've Got A Feeling & The Long & Winding Road stand out for me overall the album sounds fresh despite the fact that most of it was recorded at least a year previously.

This is the ending scene of the Beatles shows what is being produced at their last. Great work a masterpiece.

Horrifically underrated. Just because the filming is uncomfortable, and some of the production appalling, this is still the home of Two of Us (what a song, and an emotional experience), Dig a Pony, Let It Be, Get Back, I Me Mine, I've Got a Feeling. And the emotion of it and its significance gets me every time.

For me that's an extra album after their true last Abbey Road. I love the lo-fi aspects of it and the small talks we can hear in the transition between songs. For the Beatles is an ok album if it was from other band it would be considered something else.
