Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.2/100, a mean average of 68.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 69.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.0.

My dad puts this on whenever he makes pizza. This album jams hard.

The Boys already proved their instrumental ability, so this is less of a proof of skill sort of deal and more of a cross between an experiment and a self-indulgence. Sadly, most self-indulgences, especially for selfless artists like the Boys (Kanye, for example, does self-indulgence very well as he is a selfish artist), aren't often very effective. Such is the case on the instrumentals on this album, which are sonically strong, but have no swagger or wit that is so present on every other album by the Boys.

Genius album! Best of them (with the exception of LTI), or maybe Paul's Boutique is just a little better, but this & Paul's Boutique are super cohesive!

It's sloppy played but that makes it punk! they were punk rockers back in the days...

This is my least favorite B-Boys album. I'm a die hard B-Boys fan, but this all instrumental album lacks their swagger and attitude.
