Having once been an eighties teen, I can say it wasn't much like a Molly Ringwald movie. That said, there was definitely a lot of good music, albeit not necessarily the music that was popular. In that sense, things haven't changed so much. Appreciate your enthusiasm for Doolittle, Remain in Light, and many others.

Good start, bit of discovering still to go though, you have similar tastes to me from what I've seen so you may be interested in my 80's chart if you're looking for recs, I'll rate this when it expands but I'm sure it'll be great!
