Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Amazing chart ! Strong correlation with my top 50 overall chart.
I now consider to add Wu Life, The Antlers (Hospice) and Surfer Blood (Astro Coast) to my chart.
Respect for WU LYF, deserved respect
I quite like it but way too 00's heavy; try the smiths, oasis, beatles, my bloody valentine, television etc

It's absolutely obscene how many 2K albums you have on this chart. You really need to spend more time with the classics.

definitly hospice dude. it's an incredible album. and check out right away great captain if you haven't already
really nice but you need to listen to some older stuff.
and from whats in you chart i would recommend Hospice by the antlers
