Joe is the Wayne Gretzky of hockey.
He is the Houdini of magic.
He is the Tesla of electricity!
Although I like many of the other virtuoso guitarists I've always felt Joe has a special gift for writing beautifull melodic pieces that put him at the very top.
For me, this album is like boiling a frog!! Just when you think Joe has hit the climax, the next song gets better and better---"Friends", "The Extremist", "War" .
And then he follows it up with "Crying".
The whole album is a true tour-de-force.
There are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how phenomenal this guy is on the guitar and as a human being. the best thing about his shows , is the reasonable prices he still charges. You don't have to leave your hard earned paycheque at the box office to see this master guitarist.

This is phenomenal.
U2 would have sold crack to nuns to make this record!!
Radiohead gets a lot of love on this site but i feel this is their best album. it has the most guitar work and doesn't give me a modern electronic sound.

I really love trent reznor. he was able to deliver a new sound (industrial) that sounded so amazing . Not to many musicians that play electronic eqpt can put a smile on my face like the 9" nails. trent is innovative, original, creative, some say he is a genius. Whatever he is, he delivers. Fate of Nations" is Robert Plant's most Led Zeppelin-esque album.
"Fate of Nations" is not a masterpiece, but it's a solid and varied album. its incredible.
A version of Tim Hardin's "If I Were a Carpenter" is a nice addition.
Everything this guy touches, turns to gold.
