"This album has some very high highs, some of the best pop-rock songs of the decade. As a live band they seemed unique and full of neurotic energy like a 60s mod pop band. I wore these songs out for about a year and saw them live three times."  Reply

"Through the first 3 tracks of Bilateral, the sense of belonging and identity blossomed 10 fold for the production, the vocals, and drums. Overall the songwriting on this album is much more sound in comparison to the debut. While some rhythms and time signatures on the first album may have been sl..."  [+]  Reply

These songs are tame, mid-to-low tempo acoustic-guitar-based ryan adams heart-tuggers without enough lyrical or plaintive vocal substance to actually tug the heart. They'r..."  [+]  Reply

"His best album in terms of high levels of consistency, but creatively I will always prefer his first album, Instant Vintage. All his music is superp, keep it up Ray Ray"  Reply
