"Wow....suprised this isn't much higher up the list for 2001. I really like this album, it's a warm fuzzy reflective offering which has one of my favourite Mogwai tracks....'2 Rights Make 1 Wrong'."  Reply

"A bounce back from One by One. Foos got ambitious. They didn't quite nail it, but give them credit. There is a tonne of good music on this album - both discs. The acoustic surprises, and the electric delivers the usual Foos strengths."  Reply

"Good lyrics. Decent melodies, although not very varied. It is very well performed and produced. Not a lot of songs here would be memorable hits, but some songs are still catchy within this post Britpop style. Worth a second listen, IMO. 9/10!"  Reply

"Sadly it and "Avocado" fall into the "generic version of themselves" category that most artists end up doing during their career. Riot Act and Binaural are leagues better."  Reply

"Probably the most light hearted album I've ever heard, I bet if The Strokes came out before this people would think of this as a parody album! That said its pretty good. Just straight up rock and roll with no pretense, classic post-punk revival."  Reply

"Out coming from the typical sounds, this album takes to be the most electronic that Reznor ever made, he gives him time to create 16 different sounds (not the best creativity comparing each one) that every song dives to amaze people while listening, and he still singing sad, negative, creepy lyri..."  [+]  Reply

"Returning to lyrics of Richey Edwards, the Manic Street Preachers make this record their strongest in a long time, only The Holy Bible and Gold Against The Soul beat it."  Reply

"Exquisite, off-kilter dream-pop that conjures up a variety of moods, settings and time-periods. Very enveloping and an obvious precursor to later works in that genre."  Reply
