"Day for Night was the album the Tragically Hip had long attempted produce. Hints from previous albums including the pacing and cohesiveness of Road Apples with the exceptional songwriting of Fully Completely come together here as the band's masterpiece. In addition to the retrospective approach, ..." [+] Reply
""New Miserable Experience" is an alt-pop gem borrowing from big star, and is near-perfect in its effortless alt-poppy-ness. Almost every track sounds like a hit. This is another album that closes with a pseudo-alt-country song at the end called "cheatin'" which has the fun line "you can't call it..." [+] Reply

"Very good new-age/ambient house/downtempo/synthpop chillout album. I can't rate it based on rating single tracks. This album is an interrelated artwork. Overall very good 90/100. I recommend the Limited Edition including 4 additional remixes. Favourite!" Reply

"Personally I reckon Chemical Beats is the only duff track on the album. There is no better soundtrack for staggering home at 4/5am after leaving a club than One Too Many Mornings. This album has aged really well - hard to believe it's nearly 20 years old. Where did that time go?" Reply

"The complete recordings by Robert Johnson are better heard on THE CENTENNIAL COLLECTION (Columbia Legacy/Sony 2011) with much improved sound quality. Furthermore THE CENTENNIAL COLLECTION has got the alternates at the end of each disc (CD 1: SAN ANTONIO RECORDINGS; CD2: DALLAS RECORDINGS), which ..." [+] Reply

"If you like Joanna Newsom and/or Kate Bush check out Loreena McKennitt. Three albums which I would rate at 90 (or better) are The Visit (1991), The Mask and the Mirror (1994) and The Book of Secrets (1997)." Reply
"One of the greatest ambient albums, deserves a much higher ranking." Reply
"These guys are better when they're emotional. When they rap high, or about being high, it gets a little goofy. Go figure." Reply

"Blur's debut album is a lot better than some people give it credit for. It's got a nice big sound and some great songs. There's no other way, is very good, obviously influenced by the Manchester scene of the early nineties, but the rest of the album is fine too. Bang, sing, and, I'm so high, are ..." [+] Reply
