"Unfairly labelled as a disappointing follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut, A Weekend in the city is actually close to being a flawless concept album. From coke in dirty night club toilets; playing to rooms full of bored hipsters; the desire for weekend escapism- the essence of inner-city l..." [+] Reply

"Very steady throughout with their brand of industrial chug, but I do find it a touch repetitive by the time I get to the end. The version I have has a 12th track called 'Stripped' which is sung in English. It is one of the better songs on the album." Reply

Has their two biggest hits, "Spinning Wheel" and "You've Made Me So Very Happy," along with classics like the standard, "God Bless the Child," and Laura Nyro's "And When I Die." The band's later efforts wo..." [+] Reply

"A tightly packed offering of a few different beautiful stylings of Samba. Great melodies, cool arrangements, unexpected vocal jumps. Can’t imagine this not being an enjoyable listen for a majority of people." Reply

"How to define it? Brilliant Full of emotions, an exploration of acoustic and digital instruments all in different layers. The better way to listen to 10,000 HZ, is to turn off the lights and turn your stereo on as loud as you want, you wont regret. Mixtures of electronic music, progressive rock, ..." [+] Reply

"One of the most underrated albums ever; A Secret Wish is simply a masterpiece. Highlights of the album are "The Murder Of Love", "Duel", "P-Machinery", and "Dr Mabuse"." Reply

"This is a very raw, emotional, and just beautiful folk album. Excellent guitar playing, passionate vocals, really beautiful word play, and feels. Lots and lots of feels. Case in point, "The Sparrow and The medicine"" Reply

"Lovely work from Kurt Vile. He's really came into his own as an artist and this album is him doubling down on that formula. Great Indie/Americana. Best tracks: Pretty Pimpin, Wheelhouse, Wild Imagination" Reply
