"I've been to a bunch of P-Funk shows and I've been listening to their albums and studying the album covers for many, many years. This is my favorite P-Funk album. Come for the Sly Stone cameo, stay for the funk that just keeps cooking, start to finish. "Hey mon, I'd just rather go dancing than to..."  [+]  Reply

"Although it's just an EP, I feel this is the best collection of TV on the Radio in their discography. The title track is sublime, just a slow-moving chill piece with all the notes hitting perfectly with these noises that make you feel like you're on a slow train drifting to nowhere the whole song..."  [+]  Reply

"One of Gil's classics, although not his best (but that's a matter of personal taste). The title track is the most well-known, but Dominguinho's "Lamento Sertanejo" is another memorable moment. "Tenho Sede" would have its definitive version in Gil's wonderful "MTV Unplugged"."  Reply

Griffith also reunites with Jim Rooney, who produced her fiery Philo albums "Once in a Very Blue Moon" and "Last of the True..."  [+]  Reply
