Jeff Mangum deserves recognition for achieving what he wanted to achieve and then walking away during his time in the sun. This 1998 album has endured and is now largely thought of as one of Indie music's greatest works.

Ride stormed onto the scene with this 1990 album with it's famous cover art featuring blue water with a single wave. In a way, the cover stands for the guitar reverberation apparent on the album which forms their core sound. "Paralysed", "Dreams Burn Down", and especially "Vapour Trail" are highly memorable songs.
