A true game-changer. This album is the sound of a man of spiritual life force and beast-like primal musicality figuring it all out and right out of the gate. There's hardly a moment on this album that doesn't still resonate regularly with listeners and musicians of all ages all over the world. With a track-list as sturdy as the foundation of the Pentagon, Are You Experienced is one of the best rock albums you will ever hear.

The underrated middle child in the Hendrix studio discography. Some jaw-droppingly good material here including a couple of my all time favorites, Spanish Castle Magic and Castles Made of Sand.
