Radiohead for me are collectively, the perfect band, and this is for me as good as an album can be. The way it runs, from brilliance to more brilliance. The epic (Paranoid Android), to the beautiful (No Surprises), the perfect closer (The Tourist), the odd and otherwise unlistenable but fits but works perfectly within the context of the album (Fitter Happier). I like RHCP, but as a fan of albums, I cannot. This is the perfect showcase of how they can have amazing talent, Frusciante being a complete genius, but seriously, they needed to learn a little thing called 'subtlety', and the fact that there can be a thing called 'too much' of something.
