Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 76.4/100, a mean average of 66.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 67.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 18.0.

For those about to rock - chart. Very openly.
I actually really dig a lot of your picks...but it's kind of of overkill in certain areas. I will say that I would rather go to a party at your house than at the homes of some of the members who've ripped on your chart. Oh....and AC/DC f'in rules. 8 out of 50 is a bit much for me, but I see you are a true fan.
Gross
haha someone likes ac/dc...
highway to hell is one stellar album though, not a bad song on it.
I'm torn... Part of me celebrates the inclusion of 54-40, Headstones, and the Donnas. Part of me gives you credit for the inclusion of critical whipping boys Motley Crue, Ratt, and Loverboy. Give you credit - you're not ashamed of your hard-rock tastes, and you shouldn't be. This chart has balls.
That said, there is alot of music out there that's not AC/DC - give it a try.
