Fills me with joy like no other album. Very uplifting and synth-heavy, extremely unpretentious, but underneath is hidden an earnestness and a glimpse of the troubled Brian Wilson's honest personality. I love you too, The Beach Boys!

Jeff Lynne's creative burst. 70 minutes full of ELO quality including the interesting "Concerto for a Rainy Day"-suite based on weather and how it affects mood change. Lovely album to get lost in.

A new career in a new town for David Bowie. Very different from previous albums, it's building up from silly, weird David Bowie pop to profoundly sad and eerie ambient (Berlin) walls of sound. Emotionally exhausting!

Wow! Where did this come from? Dennis Wilson, the drummer kept relatively in the background, suddenly came up with the greatest Beach Boys solo album. Highly orchestrated and walls of sound backed with strongly emotional power, it's an album to blow your mind. "Thoughts of You" is one of the most haunting beautiful experiences I've ever had. So sad to think about his tragic death and the follow-up that he never finished.

We're all just animals! There's a really pessimistic, bitter tone to the album, but also loads of instrumental beauty with occasional singing. It can really suck you in and leave you drained for hope. Powerful stuff!

Relatively light pop rock, but what a track list! Rumours say that this isn't a cool album. Those rumours are false!

Queen will rock you, to the extent that you might get a sheer heart attack! I'm not very crazy about the high use of "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" as sports anthems, but it only proves further that Queen are the champions of music!

Wow! This so-called "art punk" is so much better than what I normally like to refer to as "pure punk" (Sex Pistols, Ramones, Wire, etc.). These guitar riffs and textures are indeed pure art, a guiding light of an album!

The second heroic album in the Berlin trilogy. Starts out with a set of cacophonic songs with one hit in between, before it turns ambient and ends with the not so great "The Secret Life of Arabia". Again easy to sense a sense of doubt!

Any chart with this much Beatles and Floyd is a good one...

Ooops! Actually thought I had added "A New World Record" already. "On the Third Day" and "Face the Music" should be here as well since they're both better than the first two ELO albums. The way I'm building up charts currently doesn't necessarily make much sense if any!

Also, I expect Supertramp and Alan Parsons to be here someday, if not, they'll at least end up somewhere just outside the decade chart.

Surprising to see this much ELO listed without including "A New World Record". Also would expect to see some Supertramp or Alan Parsons.

Oh, yeah. No "Who's Next" is a mistake. It used to be on my overall chart. I'll probably add it tomorrow!

Btw, my chart's currently not finished (other essential albums missing)!
