One of the greatest albums of all time, period. The first side of the record is great, but the second half? Pure magic.

Tori's least accessible but by far greatest work as a whole. It listens like a dark, Southern storybook of heartache, succinctly describing what it feels like to be emotionally spent and crawling on your knees, looking for an answer to the painful big breakup.

At first listen in college, I was not into this at all. This album takes time, but is worth every moment of enjoyment. I used to listen to it driving to work before dawn in the dark, with miles of black highway stretched before me. Favorite song: "In Limbo."

It took me a long time to get into PJ Harvey, and to be honest, she's still slowly seeping in. Every time I hear her I find something new, rich, beautiful. Favorite song: "We Float."

I love how easy it is to pick out who belongs to which song. "Don't Pass Me By" is the best thing Ringo ever did (in my opinion), besides yelling out on "Helter Skelter" about blisters on his fingers.

They're experimenting mostly, but the experiments on this record are brilliant. "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "She Says" are like a sneak peak into what the Beatles are capable of in terms of experimental rock.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0.
