Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 10% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 87.9/100, a mean average of 87.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 8.2.

Great chart! If you like "The times they are a changin", I'd recommend "the freewheeling bob dylan" though you've probably heard it. Also, the velvet underground's two other albums are fantastic. Also, check out the band "the microphones". They're lo-fi rock, and pretty good (not as lo-fi as daniel johnston, but still). Especially the albums The Glow Pt. 2, Don't Wake Me Up, and Mount Eerie

Have you seen the film Vanilla Sky? I feel like you would really like its soundtrack (Not necessarily the actual album, but rather it's soundtrack during the film).

I'd really like to give your chart a higher score because there are really some good picks here. It's just the lack of variety and the over-usage of the same artists that's bothering me. For now, it's alright.

Great chart - good collection of songs. Would like to read some notes, seems to me if you want to write about music add a few notes. I am sure they would be interesting to read. I like to read other people's views on music. Still, that aside this is an excellent chart

Great chart! Good to see Cap'n Jazz is there, as well as Blackstar in the top 10.
