Genre blindspots: Jazz, Classical, Foreign, Early Punk. Artist blindspots: Springsteen, Hendrix, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Talking Heads. Album blindspots: Blood on the Tracks, The Stone Roses, Grace, Definitely Maybe, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Personal Bias: Last 15 years of current music immersion. Singer-songwriter guitarist.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Really solid chart. I tend to agree with your album picks. (Although, I also tend to like a lot of the tracks you deem "weakest songs.") Overall, this chart pleases me.

The chart is a bit redundant and boring to read, because there are too many albums of the same artists.

I like your selections but personally I'd rather hear more of what they mean to you (the stuff in brackets on your top 2) than what you think is the weakest song.

Dig it- minus the Beatles and White Stripes are on there a bit too much. I mean not that they are not good albums, but maybe slim down on those to let room for more?
