As a teenager this vinyl saw a lot of spins and having given it a good clean I am pleased that it plays as well as ever. I don't think I would describe any of the tracks as weak. Joan Crawford and Burnin for You are my favourite tracks. The title track is also very catchy but sounds a little dated now.

Ten plus years beyond their classic albums output, along comes this quite wacky yet musically brilliant album. Still with hints to the early psychedelic days but reinforced with some superb synth texturing, it is a compelling listsen. I was lucky to pick the original vinyl up at a second hand vinyl dealer yesterday and to my surprise it is in near mint condition with the comic book hardly thumbed through. So what the hell is a trip to potato land all about? I suppose I should read the comic next time I listen to it! If it came out in 1967 then I would know exactly what a trip to potato land was about!

A great rock album from the red rocker. One of his best albums with some classic Hagar favourites like 'There's Only One Way To Rock'. Sammy Hagar is one of those artists who nails some great stuff in his albums but leaves us some forgettable stuff too. His best output was certainly the early work he did with Van Halen.

Showcases the best of Zappa's guitar work in my opinion. The style is fairly full on so I need to be in the right mood to listen to this. To be honest, Zappa was best when he was 'shut up'. So many of his works are spoilt with unnecessary drivel...P
