"A stop gap release between, appetite for destruction, and the, use your illusion, albums. It consists of the, like a suicide, e.p, a four track live recording featuring a cover of Aerosmith's, mama kin, Rose Tattoo's, nice boys, and originals, reckless life, and, move to the city. The album also ..."  [+]  Reply

"OMD with more than a nod towards Kraftwerk...quite different to Architecture & Morality, more industrial but a good listen. Difficult to rate tracks individually but as a whole I like it. The whole album rating more than just a sum of its parts. Oh, and Radio Waves most definitely should have bee..."  [+]  Reply

"I was 11 years old when this album came out. My brother had just started learning to play bass. Naturally, this is the record he wanted to learn to play. Taking his lead, this quickly became my favorite album of that time. I was obsessed. Calypool's bass still sounds like no other."  Reply

"My personal favorite Funkadelic album (prefer it over the fan favorite "Maggot Brain." Fans of psychedelic music will be impressed. The lyrics take a backseat and the album is more concentrated on jamming. Excellent guita mastery from Eddie Hazel"  Reply

"This was the first Cocteau Twins album I heard, so I heard this, not as a greatest hits album but as a studio album...it really changed my idea of what pop/rock could be in the way that "Velvet Underground and Nico" did..When I heard "Spangle Maker", I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I think..."  [+]  Reply

"This is my favorite "Crowded House" album. They sound darker compared to their other records but the album offers great songs like "Into Temptation" and "Better Be Home Soon" that sound llike a "Beatles"-impression from the 80s."  Reply

"My introduction to the retro sounds of The Hoodoo Gurus - and I will forever feel blessed. A combination of Beatlesque chiming guitars, tribal drumming, and Cramps-like cemetery humor, "Stoneage Romeos" plays it hard and fast, and gives notice that this group from down under would be around for a..."  [+]  Reply

"My favourite Maiden album since Bruce and Adrian’s return. ‘Paschendale’ is one of the greatest songs they have ever created. ‘No More Lies’, the title track, the underrated ‘Montsegur’, the punchy ‘Wildest Dreams’, the catchy ‘Rainmaker’ are all excellent songs. Some dismiss this album because o..."  [+]  Reply

"Hval tries a more "fun" album following the dark and mesmerising Menneskekollektivet. Though I'm cetainly partial to a bit of Hval, I've followed her for most of her discography, Classic Objects is one of the most listenable projects she's done, maybe even more so than Apocalypse Now and The Long..."  [+]  Reply
