A couple notes:
- If I didn't choose to include only one album per artist, this list would consist of nothing but Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, David Bowie, and the Decemberists. Thus, only one album per artist.
- The Beatles' Revolver/Sgt. Pepper and Pink Floyd's Dark Side/The Wall are a given on anyone's list. If I'm only allowed 40 spots, I'm putting albums that aren't as obvious. Just imagine that Sgt. Pepper and Dark Side are like... 2.5 and 4.5 respectively

Nice inclusion of the stranger, oasis and dire straights. I also agree that bold as love is Hendrix' best album!
