This is my chart. With emphasis on MY. My chart. I didn't copy it from Rolling Stone magazine... I didn't take it from 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die... You won't find Miles Davis here (not that I don't like him...), The Beatles (they are not THAT good) or Bob Dylan (as he said - his music is basically for teenage students having too much time)...
Here's MY chart: full of polish music, 00's bands and world/folk/roots sounds.
And do not ask me to listen american music, 70' bands and krautrock sounds. I already did it. Like it. A lot.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

GOod stuff. I think you might like Sufjan Steven's "Age of Adz". It's kinda an electronic rock masterpiece, like the Eraser or Kid A. Give it a few listens, it's a grower.

Very interesting and original chart but...The Eraser by Thom Yorke is the best album ever? I guess that's where the emphasis on YOUR list comes in -- and that's fair. I do love the Tool, King Crimson, Portishead and Nick Cave!
