Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Good chart, and I really can't understand why this has such a low rating.
Well, at least Leonar hasn't rated my chart yet.
Or if he's planning to, then he should consider first that we have at least 2 albums in common. Maybe much more, if you also count decade charts.

The disappointment isn't in the really awful rating you gave to my chart...it's that your chart is small and narrow minded. I expected to see a full top 100 filled with awesome choices that put my chart to shame. But this? Thanks, but you accidentally put your rating of your own chart on my page. Feel free to come by and fix that any time.
Not really enough here for me to rate the chart. The albums I know I like although All is Dream is a weak album by a great band (in my opinion). I came to see your chart as I was intrigued as to why you only gave me 50. I then noticed your average rating was 38 so you actually rated my chart 32% above average. So what I think you're saying is you love my chart. Cheers.
You have many albums I would love to hear. Damn man, looks like you pissed off a lot of people.
