“My girl, my girl, don't lie to me,
Tell me where did you sleep last night,
In the pines, in the pines,
Where the sun don't ever shine,
I would shiver the whole night through,
My girl, my girl, where will you go?
I'm going where the cold wind blows,
In the pines, the pines,
The sun don't shine,
I'd shiver... the whole night through”

“And I don't wanna be an old man anymore,
It's been a year or two since I was out on the floor,
Shaking booty, making sweet love all the night,
It's time I got back to the good life,
It's time I got back, it's time I got back,
And I don't even know how I got off the track,
I wanna go back, yeah!”

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 83.9/100, a mean average of 80.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 83.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 20.6.

I like this chart. I usually prefer a little more variety in that top 10, but you got Silent Way #1, that's dope.

Sorry, but I find this chart a bit boring and lacking personality. It's like the best of the best of BEA members charts. When I look at user charts I am always hoping to be 'surprised' (at least a little) and to trigger my inquisitive nature to explore a previously unheard of artist or album. No surprises here, unfortunately.

"A chart that I hope reflects my tastes to the best of my ability." Man, I hoped that too. I can see an effort behind this, hand picking quotes for every record. Some personal picks like Takk and A Crow Looked at Me shows some thought, preference and character, but otherwise I cannot get that behind this chart that much. As many others have said, a vast majority here is so close to the overall chart it almost feels a bit dry. I still appreciate the chart and want to believe that the intro description clangs true, but at the moment I can't totally see it.
