"A great album in Streetlight Manifesto's intense style. Contains some creative songwriting with well-thought out musical production. Highlights are "Point Counterpoint" and "A Better Place, A Better Time.""  Reply

"i really dug "cee-lo green is the soul machine". It's the kind of smart, fun, playful rap i hadn't heard since p.m. dawn. Kinda reminded me of de la soul too. i also really dug what dj dangermouse did with jay-z's black album. Some moshes didn't work but when they did, like on "Helter Skelter" it..."  [+]  Reply

"Totally brilliant, there is not one bad song here. The fact that it has come in for harsh criticism and is generally undervalued is more a reflection on listeners than the band themselves. If you like poncey, girlie-whirlie, indie schmindie that couldn't rock it's way out of a paper bag don't bot..."  [+]  Reply

"It's absolute insanity that an album this good sits so far down the charts. I can only assume it's because not enough people have listened to Ween or White Pepper in particular. This is not a couple of clowns trying to make a novelty record. This is a collection of outstanding songs by gifted son..."  [+]  Reply

"I immediately fell in love with this record on my first listen. Even though it's just Balkan folk sounds re-imagined as indie music, there is something brilliant in its novelty (at least to someone who doesn't otherwise listen to Balkan folk)."  Reply

"This is the record that sent Biffy to the mainstream... (Puzzle already did this though, but this is the one that did it on a new level). "Overshadowed by Ladies & Gentlemen, Let It Come Down is right up there with its predecessor. Addiction, relapse, recovery, floating, submerging. I actually like Let It Come Down slightly better than Ladies & Gentlemen because I never tire of melancholy ballads."  Reply
