Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

23 in common, but no Bruce Springsteen in yours although you have a few other prominent singer-songwriters. I don't know if you've had the chance to really explore his stuff, but if not, I strongly encourage it. Great list, although I hope you add notes in the near future (it's something I'm working on with my own top 100, so I get it).

Really great mix of records, not a single weak album in sight. For a higher score from me, some notes as to why these are your favourite records would be the cherry on the cake! Side note - just wondering why there's no hip hop/jazz in the chart, is it not really your rag or have you placed them in a separate chart? Look forward to checking back here!
