A beautiful album full of nostalgic rhythms and beautiful lyricism of childhood. Some songs sound cheerfully calming and its just a very beautiful debut. This album can literally only described in one word. Beautiful. 10/10 [First added to this chart: 07/19/2021]

This album is Indie Rock perfection. The impact this album had on genrations of rock to come is insane. It's the equivalent of the modern sgt peppers or modern nevermind. The lyrics of being young and ruthless come across amazing with Julians muffled voice and the quick instrumentation. The line from the song Hard to Explain "I say the right thing, but act the wrong way. I like it right here, but I cannot stay. I watch the TV, forget what I'm told. Well, I am too young, and they are too old" is just perfection I fucking love it so much. This album is just insanely catchy and lyrical and listen to it. 10/10 [First added to this chart: 07/19/2021]

What happens when you get the perfect rhymer and hip hop lyricist and the greatest hip hop producer and make them make an album together. You get Madvillainy. This album is the magnus opus album by famous hip hop MC MF DOOM and producer Madlib who create what many to consider the greatest hip hop album ever. I find it hard to disagree with them because this album is truly great from opener "Accordion" to closing track "Rhinestone Cowboy" there's a non stop amazing flow on each song. There's not much else to say besides the interludes of voices throughout each track I respect a lot and it helps the flow of leading each song into the next. This album is just an incredibly unique and different hip hop album that will inspire generations of hip hop down the line. [First added to this chart: 02/06/2022]

If you wanna know what's the perfect album about England look no further than the arctic monkeys debut album. Taking inspiration from Indie rock bands like The Strokes this album is an amazing twist on that music with hints of England littered throughout the album. "Mardy Bum" a song about arguing with your girlfriend and getting tired of trying to fix things. "When the sun goes down" a beautiful song about seeing a nice young girl having to grow up to become a prostitute for her only way of income, and finally album closer "A Certain Romance" quite possibly one of the greatest songs written going over nearly all the topics gone over on the album and putting a close to the story painting a dark picture on England. Its just a catchy album with great lyrism on par with its predecessor "Is This It?' [First added to this chart: 02/06/2022]

This albums pacing is beautiful. At this moment in time this is the only Godspeed album I've listened to but I plan on listening to a lot more from hearing this masterpiece. I love the dark and eerie atmosphere it gives off and how in the gatefold of the vinyl it tells you exactly when each song starts and ends with the 4 sides. The way I see it is Storm is the beginning it begins beautifully and drifts into something else then the next side which is static its farely dark and shows the storys leading to somewhere much darker. Then the third side which is Speed the album gets this droning evil sort of sound which gives off this feeling of losing a battle or being in some post apocalyptic world and losing all your friends and being on your own to survive. Then the title track ends it quietly having to accept the fact we've lost everyone but there's still hope. Simply put this is an example of an artist showing their full capability with everything they have and its beautiful.

Daft Punk created their debut Homework in 1997. An album blending House and Electro sounding very good but wasn't paced like an album more like a compilation of hits. Their follow up Discovery pushed that boundary where Daft Punk decided to make an album full of hits such as One More Time and Harder Better Faster Stronger and Paced it as an album is usually paced with an opening and an outro. It's simply Daft Punk at their best with funky beats and unique sounds and amazing vocals on the few songs that have vocals. It's just an electronic masterpiece.
