I've started a project of going back through my music collection and critically listening to and grading my favorites while also exploring music I haven't heard before. My rating system is heavily skewed towards nostalgia and my personal listening tastes but also allows space for albums that I don't particularly enjoy but can appreciate nonetheless. This list is a work in progress that I'll be updating as I work through my library and explore new music.

I love how creative and weird this album is while still being very musical and melodic with its experimentation. An underrated album that deserves the top spot on my list.

I was an emo kid and the songs of Twenty One Pilots feels very nostalgic to me even though I discovered them fairly recently. Love the mixing of genres and creativity on this particular album and every single song really gets me on an emotional level.

My favorite album from my all time favorite band. AFI was exploring a new sound starting with the All Hallows EP and this album is a perfect blend of that new sound while maintaining their punk roots. Damn near perfect.

I know... Blink 182 probably doesn't deserve a spot this high on my list but I can't help it. This was the soundtrack of my teenage years and I never get sick of listening to this album. Plus Travis Barker on the drums.
