"This is definitely an album that is different, unlike much of anything you’ll hear. I was trying to give this album a genre, trying to figure out what it would fit into and I decided on a somewhat pop, somewhat R&B feel. Then I looked them up on Wikipedia and the genre that was given was “Alterna..."  [+]  Reply

"Like an XXX-era Danny Brown if he was raised on tea and biscuits in a Northampton council estate. And that's not an arbitrary comparison. When I first listened to Nothing Great About Britain, the yelping raps, bipolar tones and erratic production instantly had me picturing a younger Danny Brown. ..."  [+]  Reply

"I'll be completely honest, I don't get why this is the top ranked album. So American and Sleep Forever are great tracks, but the whole middle part of the album contains a bunch of little hooky songs that get stuck in my head because of all the wrong reasons. Danger mouse certainly brought the bes..."  [+]  Reply

"Absolute fire album. Consistent quality throughout, the Travis Scott influenced beats and quirky flow from Quavo and Takeoff works brilliantly. The lyrics are not necessarily philosophically deep but this is an album you can just pop on at a party on in the car and just groove to."  Reply

"Everybody is back! Loved hearing everybody contributing on this album, Feist, Amy and Emily. Ariel Engle did great live filling in, and on her own songs. Saw them a few days after Gord Downie died and Kevin Drew soldiered on but with a couple of rough patches and a walk off stage, but came back s..."  [+]  Reply

"If you happen to be a fan of Silversun Pickups, I believe you will like The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. They have a very similar sound. Some elements of shoegaze, some elements of indie rock all mixed together to make one really good album. One of the things I really like about this album is th..."  [+]  Reply
