Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 56.1/100, a mean average of 52.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 54.6/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 28.7.

Pretty solid top 20, then it starts being too comercial. Very US centric too.
This is great lit. Pearl Jam is an odd choice tho, especially over Led Zep 4!
okoverall yet Where are the smiths and radiohead?
Top 10 excellent, top 20 ok mais ça part un peut en cacahuètes apres!
Overall i agree, nevermind by nirvana should be a little higher though...
Some excellent choices. Meanwhile... DIXIE CHICKS, NELLY, CREED, USHER, 50 CENT, even muthafreakin KID ROCK wtf?? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Not terrible. Not the best list either. Popularity oriented it seems. Best example would be the Biggie and Pac records chosen, NOT their best.
Dixie Chicks twice?? Nelly? Faith Hill? OK, some good choices as well, but some r.e.a.l. bad ones too.
Needs some Radiohead
Bad for a recognized chart (RS Top 100 is better)
