Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 85.0/100, a mean average of 80.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.5/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 20.3.

Nice selection. The 90s had a lot more good music than you included but you clearly have an old head preference which is understandable.
Nice chart!
Very good chart of the classical albums of the 60`s and 70`s.
I love it but I can`t believe you`re born 1998.
Great list, 28 in common with my own. 70's definitely the best decade, (by a country mile).
You have cool taste.
Super-solid top 10 (as of 20/4/18). Can't disagree with anything outside of the top 20.
You clearly like the classics, and I will try that Steve Miller Band album you have at #11 atm. I miss a little more less known bands and artists, especially from the 2000's and 2010's; maybe you can check out Porcupine Tree for example.
a very classic rock list but nearly all of them great albums

good stuff! lots of good 70's rock
