Working on adding comments to each album. WIP I guess at the moment. My top 10 stays quite stable but everything after is kind of all over the place.

And don't forget that there are many great things that I haven't yet discovered.

Back when I heard this album for the first time, I would have never imagined calling it my favorite album of all time. Oh, how things change.

From the perfect use of pizzicato strings in Jesus Etc. to Jeff Tweedy getting crazy on I'm the Man Who Loves You, this album is fantastic.

Favorite song: Jesus, Etc.
Least favorite song: Reservations (I believe this is common for a lot of people).

Doolittle was recorded about 20 minutes from where I live. It's such a cool feeling to know this masterpiece was created near my hometown

I live on the east coast and I go to the beach a lot, which is why I play this a lot during the spring/summer months. I first heard Real Estate when I was on a bus during a school trip in Chicago and I fell in love instantly.

as of july 17th 2015, dedicated to my very special music soulmate :)

I didn't always have this album ranked very high among Wilco's discography but now it is officially my second favorite.

This is my favorite EP of all time. People will call Music has the Right to Children the best BoC release but I think it's too long in length. This EP is better.

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 3% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 89.6/100, a mean average of 90.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.4/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 11.1.

Great chart! Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is so good! Honestly it's really the only Wilco album I listen to pretty often. Love how much you like Ween. Hard for me to pick a favorite of theirs and always tempted to put one on my top 100. I suppose I'll have to listen to Real Estate now. DuckTales are really good!

A really humble chart. You're notes crack me up, man. Which parts of "The Mollusk" would you consider serious? Buckingham Green maybe? Even the heavier and darker moments seem completely absurd, which I love.

Thank you for including Days and Real Estate by Real Estate. Both those albums are awesome and they don’t get enough recognition

Even though a lot of the picks here aren't my sort of thing, I can really appreciate the time and effort you've gone into writing for each of these albums. Lovely chart!!

Nice chart, good job on your comments on a lot of picks! Maybe I should give Modest Mouse a second chance, that's what I get from your list. I didn't really like "The Moon & Antarctica", but maybe I should try "The Lonesome Crowded West". Do you think it's possible I like the latter if I didn't like the former?

A strong chart to this point. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot at #1 is a great choice, as is Doolittle in the top 10. Would love to see you finish out #'s 81-100 sometime!
