Top 100 Greatest Synthpop Albums by 
Secondsoul 
Recently I've been watching a couple of excellent documentarys on the BBC iplayer and youtube about The Human League and OMD. This brought back memories of growing up in the early eighties when synthesizer bands dominated the UK charts. German band Kraftwerk were a massive influence on many of these bands. These are the best synthpop albums ever made imo. The majority will come from that early eighties period when the genre was at it's peak, but I've also thrown in a few others from later years also. This chart is limited to a maximum of three albums per artist.

Spectacular chart! Synthpop has its share of detractors, but for me its a genre I keep going back to again and again. Glad to see your inclusion of Devo among the chart.

i got strng digs agnst the Order, but overall, fantasy chart. some solid remind'd and even solider rec'd. been putting down a load of synpop of late, so i'm stoken out staking the jjoint.

Awesome chart man, always great to see someone else who enjoys OMD! For a less traditional spin, may I recommend Teledrome? They made a synthpunk album this year that's pretty awesome.
