Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by DaVGManiac
You might be wondering why this chart doesn't have any descriptions. Well, it's because I'm not very good at reviewing albums, therefore deciding not to spend too much time writing long and detailed walls of text. I know that my chart is somewhat generic, but hey, there is always room for improvement.
NOTE: One-album wonders don't count; the artist must have at least two solid releases. An artist which has only released its debut record also doesn't count.

Recently, I've picked up OK Computer again, Such a stimulating album. Great music and great engineering.
On the other side, Pixies and Arcade Fire really sound like a generational thing to me. Never did it for me.
Don't know The Fishmans but will surely check out.
Also been relistening to Unknown Pleasures lately and what an unusual (great!) band and singer.
Bowie's Blackstar also struck me! It's not really radically to what he was doing in the last decade but it has a special touch. Unfortunately we now know why.
Never explored The Whom Kinks and Steely Dan's discography. Maybe it's time!
Also recently fell in love with Heaven or Las Vegas.
Faith No More! I haven't heard any of those records for ages! Will surely take care of that.
Spirit of Eden is musicianship & creativity at its best!
Not really a fan of metal but one of my favorite records when I was in my 20s was Blackwater Park :)
Cheers!
Great stuff all around! I'd definitely recommend Nick Cave since you like 80s alternative, goth and noise music as well as classic singer/songwriter. He's all of those things, depends which album you pick. I'd recommend Tender Prey, The Good Son or Let Love In as fine starting points.
Classics all around! Nice stuff. here's some albums that you might like if you havent heard them:
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Yes - Fragile

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
