"Blah blah, it's not as good as the best stuff they've done, blah blah it's not this or that. How about what it is rather than what it's not? There's moments on this as good as anything released this year. When they arrive they still make me feel. Not the best album they've made. Not the best albu..."  [+]  Reply

"Silhouettes is an amazing song and takes up 1/4 of the album’s runtime. If the whole album were like it this would immediately make my top 50. Unfortunately the rest of the album is just OK. EDIT: Rest of the album wound up growing on me quite a bit"  Reply

"Can get a bit daft lyrically at times, and has some annoying hooks, but overall a very strong album with mostly solid production and good turns from several features - Jay Rock, Raekwon, Kendrick. Blind Threats and Break the Bank are the main standouts for me, the latter should be a strong conten..."  [+]  Reply

"If you don't feel the groove then you are, in fact, grooveless. Not sure why our track listing was missing side e & f before... not songs to be missed. Probably one of the only exceptions I have for listening to artist compilations. Everything here is just so nicely wrapped up and smooth. RIP Wil..."  [+]  Reply

"Widely referred to as the greatest Grateful Dead concert of All-Time. It is not but it is still an excellent representation of the 1977 Grateful Dead. Probably the tightest the band ever played. Crisp glistening Live recording by Betty Cantor Jackson. This is a stunning Live album worthy of ANY q..."  [+]  Reply

"Compelling vocal performance that blurs the lines between poetry, rap and story-telling as Tempest brings tales from modern urban life with romance, drug dealing, gang violence, sex work, and family set to grimy beats packed with ear pleasing noises . Once the initial thrill of discovering the st..."  [+]  Reply

"It's monolithic. A massive, unique sound (punk quartet plus orchestra) that mostly lives up to the ambition of the songs. It feels conceptual too, like a Grand Statement. I love some songs more than others but the good ones are seriously good. Pain Killer is in my Top 10 songs of the year so far."  Reply
