And after the naughts come the 2010's: and I start with the four albums of 2010 and 2011 in the overall BEA top 2500 I had not yet listened to:
- Diamond Eyes by Deftones (nr 38 of 2010 and 2271 overall): maybe more metal than nu-metal but it is still a band and an album I totally don't like
- The Family Jewels by Marina And The Diamonds (nr 44 of 2010 and 2431 overall): a bit too poppy for my liking but I fairly liked Hermit The Frog and Oh No!
- England Keep My Bones by Frank Turner (nr 48 of 2011 and 2286 overall): I don't really like this album although Redemption was not bad
- Undun by The Roots (nr 44 of 2011 and 2072 overall): not my thing
So next come 2012 and 2013.

In contradiction to 2013 where there was not a lot I liked in the albums I hadn't listened to, there was something in nearly every album (part of the overall BEA top 2500) I hadn't listened to yet of 2014.
I say nearly because here as well there was an album I didn't like at all:
Our Love by Caribou (nr 33 of 2014 and 2312 overall)
And two album that had its merits but finally didn't make it to my final charts:
Home, Like Noplace Is There by The Hotelier (nr 35 of 2014 and 2299 overall): not bad but in the end a bit too over the top emo for my taste
Metamodern Sounds In Country Music by Sturgill Simpson (nr 36 of 2014 and 2324 overall): I'm not a country fan and in general this is not really my taste but there is that one special track which renders this album Metamodern: It Ain't All Flowers
And then the two album that do make it to my top 2014 top chart:
I'm In Your Mind Fuzz by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (nr 31 of 2014 and 2177 overall): not all tracks are very good but in general again a very nice jam record by this band.
Everything Will Be Alright In The End by Weezer (nr 22 of 2014 and 1711 overall): I'm not a big fan of the latter day Weezer and I was very much in doubt if I would include this album in my 2014 top chart until I heard the final suite consisting of three tracks which maybe are a bit over the top but I liked it very much.
So next is 2015.

And the remaining albums of 2016 in the overall BEA top 2500 were albums I didn't really dislike but none of them interested me enough to include them in my 2016 year chart:
Everything You've Come To Expect by The Last Shadow Puppets (nr 27 of 2016 and 2468 overall): not really a a fan of the singer but the lush orchestration sometimes tempted me
Cardinal by Pinegrove (nr 26 of 2016 and 2423 overall): maybe a bit too emo to be actually good enough
Light Upon The Lake by Whitney (nr 25 of 2016 and 2195 overall): I think it's the singers: sometimes good enough songs but I don't really like the voice of the singer
Puberty 2 by Mitski (nr 24 of 2016 and 2092 overall): same thing here
A Seat At The Table by Solange (nr 21 of 2016 and 1896 overall): definitely not the same thing here. I can't get into this type of music here. I have the impression that there are more interludes than actual songs and the first are even the best.
And maybe immediately to 2017 which only featured one album I hadn't listened to yet (in fact I had already listened to the first five tracks before):
Painted Ruins by Grizzly Bear (nr 26 of 2017 and 2316 overall): again an album which is hard to dislike. I like some of the tracks but overall I miss some outspokenly good ones.
Next is fairly many 2018 albums, the first full year I had Apple Music so I think I already listened to most high ranked albums I thought I would like but you never know.

And before I tackle 2019, here are 4 loose ends of BEA top 2500 albums I hadn't listened to yet.
Of which one makes it to my personal top chart of
Burn Your Fire For No Witness by Angel Olsen (nr 37 of 2014 and 2393th overall): although I'm still not completely sure if I really like her voice, both the heavier as the slower (Leonard Cohen is mentioned a lot) songs are winners on this album.
And three not so interesting albums for me:
Blackout by Britney Spears (nr 62 of 2007 and 2443th overall)
+ by Ed Sheeran (nr 54 of 2011 and 2487th overall)
I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It by The 1975 (nr 27 of 2016 and 2295th overall).
And before I end this long journey I'm gonna listen to the first ranked albums of 2019 (not only the top three which are currently in the overall BEA top 2500 because in principle that number will grow in the months to come). Although I already have more than 100 album in my personal 2019 chart, there's not many of them which also are part of overall top 50 of BEA 2019 albums. I especially would like to emphasize on three albums which are applauded to be the future of rock (Weyes Blood, Black Midi and Big Thief) but didn't really do a lot to me so I'll give them another chance.

I've got more than 100 albums already in my 2019 top chart but somehow I don't have the general acclaimed albums of the year here so I listened to some of the first ranked albums and in any case to the top three albums which are already part of the overall BEA top 2500:
Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood (nr 1 of 2019 and 1806th overall): I think this is about the third time I listened to this album and somehow it didn't click and on the first tracks it still didn't. But then I heard Wild Time which is a great song. So I decided to make this part of my top chart but it won't be in my top 100.
Igor by Tyler, The Creator (nr 2 of 2019 and 2060th overall): not the worst hiphop album around but I wouldn't listen to it again
Norman Fucking Rockwell! by Lana Del Rey (nr 3 of 2019 and 2103th overall): I'm not a big fan of Lana Del Rey but this is her best album I've heard yet with especially The Greatest as the greatest song. But there's still something that annoys me in her voice and songs.
And I listened to some of the other high acclaimed albums of 2019:
Father Of The Bride by Vampire Weekend (nr 4 of 2019): I quickly found out that this is not really my type of album
Schlagenheim by Black Midi (nr 5 of 2019): also an album I already tried to get into a few times. In general this is an album I should like because it reference to a lot of my favorite artists but somehow I don't really like it although I like the general feel.
U.F.O.F. by Big Thief (nr 14 of 2019): a bit like Weyes Blood: this album is slowly starting to click. Again just not in my top 100 chart of 2019 but that's just because the competition is better.
And all of a sudden this is the end of my journey into the BEA top 2500 album and I now have listened to all of them (except for a few which I will detail later). My first post was April 2016 so it took me about 3,5 years to get to this point so it was a long but interesting journey and at the same time we are at the end of this decade as well which is a nice coincidence.
Here are some statistics:
I excluded 72 albums because they were compilations, greatest hits, live albums or doubles of other albums
Of the top 2500 I had already listened to 754 albums before and 604 of those were already in my top charts
This means I had still 1674 albums to listen to and of those 510 albums made it to my top charts which means that 1164 didn't. This may be a lot and it this but this journey didn't change my mind on a number of genres which are not really my thing like hiphop, fluffy pop and prog (esp progmetal).
And especially 1675 of my favorite albums are not in the overall BEA top 2500 and I have now (also a coincidence) still 999 albums on my wishlist.
In any case I enjoyed this journey and your comments on it so I think this will be my next challenge: Again go from year to year and for each of these years: listen back and rescore one of the albums already in my top chart and one of my wishlist.
I will keep you posted.

So after I have done the BEA top 2500 what I want to do now, also on a year per year basis, is each year take one album of my own collection I still should rescore and one of the about a 1000 albums on my wishlist (not in the BEA top 2500) of that year.
So I have started in 1964 (with no album in my collection I have to relisten to) in which I have picked the following album on my wishlist
Wednesday Morning, 3AM by Simon & Garfunkel
This is the 24th album of 1964 with of course that one major hit on their debut album: The Sounds Of Silence. Although most of the other tracks are fairly standard folk songs, the harmonies are already there and lift this album up to something better than those standard folk albums. This album ends up at the fourth and last place of my 1964 year chart.
And I have also done 1965 with two comparable albums:

Eve Of Destruction by Barry McGuire
This is only the 247th album of 1965 on BEA and that is a real shame. There's not only that fantastic title song but also some good Dylan cover and to me a stellar interpretation of You You Were On My Mind in which he turns this sugar sweet song in something very dangerous: really good.

The Angry Young Them by Them
This first album of Them ànd Van Morrison is only ranked 59th on the BEA 1965 year list but Gloria is on it so that song alone is a reason to include it in my personal year chart and there's also Mystic eyes and Bright Lights, Big City. It doesn't feature the single Here Comes The Night though, which is a bit of a pity. All in all not a great but a good R&B album and a welcome introduction to The Man.
As I said two fairly similar albums but Barry McGuire wins: 7th on my 1965 year chart and Them at the eleventh rank.
