Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by
Spyglass
My chart is ordered from best to worst. These albums I have chosen are albums that go above and beyond the boundaries of music, and have brilliance to share in whatever forms they take. All of the albums I've chosen are very special to me in one way or another, even if they're outside of my comfort zone, because a comfort zone doesn't matter when you're trying to comprehend all forms of music.
I've added little stories that describe my feelings when listening to each album. They're quite odd, but I love a little odd now and then.

"I'm drunk, and I'm drugged. You just can't imagine what I'm seeing right now. For example, you look like a walrus head. Your wine looks like my dick, and I'm making out with a goddess of storms." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"Progressive rock? Don't call me that anymore. I literally invented the term back when my first album came out. You were supposed to be your own man, but instead you studied me like a stalker forcing his own pen into my book. How dare you call yourself progressive! It only took you five years to make me feel unoriginal. But I will continue to reinvent myself. And I will play the music you don't understand. It is the music you think you know since you like to copy me, but is really the music you fear to play or even tolerate: music from the heart." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I was running down a hallway when something invisible hit my head. The strange thing is that sometimes when you are knocked out, your consciousness is not trapped in some strange and monstrous creation. Instead, your consciousness becomes its own entity and travels to another world. And when I was knocked out, I flew to the moon for no reason other than to say I did. Since I was a ghost, the lack of gravity did not affect me. But I learned a little trick from the man on the moon, who looks a bit like Chuck Berry. He told me one of the many secrets to life, and with that, I achieved something amazing. While the moon is 6,783 miles across, I walked the whole thing in ten minutes. I didn't run; I walked. When I completed a circle, my ghost was drawn back to my waking body like the speed of light. And ever since then, I haven't seen the world the same way." [First added to this chart: 04/05/2020]

"It might be possible to be yourself a bit too much. But at the same time, that can be a real charm to people. Take it from me: when you're way too much yourself, you can scare away half the women on earth, and get laid with the other half." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"You probably won't recognize me by my face, but that low howl in my deep voice will help you recall the nightmares of your childhood, and realize that I built them and the strings attached to them, all from the secrets you found that your friends and family held. I'm returning from the grave to haunt you, and it shall be in a manner far worse than my haunting sprees when I was alive. Back then, when I haunted you, I made you want to live. Now, I'll do something different. I won't make you desire death, but I'll screw your mind up to the point you'll want to dig your way into my sombre coffin and cuddle my corpse out of pity. For my howling is mournful like a choir and euphoric like the wolf's cry." [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"We all look for beauty in the worst places. Where the jewels of Babylon were once the sought after treasure, most now prefer to seek the whore. And how many forms does that seductive whore take? We are all seduced, but I beg this world not to crucify her, but rather to ignore her. If you don't, you'll become the monsters she wants you to be." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I feel a turning point in sonic vibration. Its grip on humanity has emerged from the inner depths of the common eargasm and has reched out to the universe in a more expansive way. Could a black hole have this power?" [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]
